Dr. Lewis Jones III received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1989. He was awarded the U.S. Army Health Professions Scholarship to attend Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, where he graduated in 1993.

He began his career with the US Army, as a medical officer, stationed at Ft. Benning, Georgia. He was also an assistant clinical professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Houston.
He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, Southwestern Illinois Optometric Society, and the Illinois Society for the Prevention of Blindness.
Dr. Stephanie Goggin is a native of Southwestern Illinois. She joined Metro Eye Care in 2008. Dr. Goggin graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Illinois State University.

She attended the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry, where she completed clinical rotations in ocular disease at Scott Air Force Base and Marion VA Hospital. While earning her doctorate in optometry, Dr. Goggin received a Clinical Excellence Award in contact lenses and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Goggin enjoys fitting contact lenses and seeing patients of all ages, especially kids. Outside of work, Dr. Goggin loves traveling and spending time with her husband and kids.
Dr. Alicia Triplett-Janssen is from the St. Louis area and joined Metro Eye Care in 2011. She attended the Pierre Laclede Honors College at the University of Missouri- St. Louis for her undergraduate degree. Dr. Triplett-Janssen attended the University of Missouri- St. Louis College of Optometry for her Doctorate of Optometry, where she completed her clinical rotations in ocular disease and surgical co-management.

She was President of the Missouri Optometric Student Association, involved in Students Volunteering Optometric Services to Humanity, and Gold Key.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. Dr. Triplett-Janssen loves spending time with her family and partakes in mission trips when possible.
Dr. Sarah (Busse) Kruse, an Edwardsville native, is excited to be practicing optometry in her hometown with Metro Eye Care. Dr. Kruse graduated Summa Cum Laude with her bachelor's degree in biology and health science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Dr. Kruse graduated Summa Cum Laude with her bachelor's degree in biology and health science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. After her time at Mizzou, she attended the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry for her doctorate of optometry, where she completed her clinical rotations in primary care optometry, ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, and pediatrics. After receiving her doctorate, she completed a residency in ocular disease at the St. Louis VA hospitals.
Dr. Kruse and her husband, Cody, enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on all the local sports teams!
Dr. Jennifer Bulmann graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1998. She completed a geriatric/low-vision residency at the Birmingham, Alabama VAMC. Dr. Bulmann has previously worked in academia, both as a professor and clinically at the University of Michigan, UMSL, and Southern College of Optometry. She also worked within the VA health system.

In addition to Metro Eye Care, she also works with Ovitsky Vision as a nursing home optometrist and is a Lieutenant Colonel serving in the Illinois Air National Guard in the 126th Medical Group as the eye care provider for the 126th Air Refueling Wing.
Dr. Bulmann is a member of the American Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, Southwestern Illinois Optometric Society, and Armed Forces Optometric Society, and is a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Bulmann also serves on the board of the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
Dr. Bulmann joined the practice in early 2021 to help us better serve the community’s eye care needs. Additionally, Dr. Bulmann brings a depth of experience in low vision/vision rehabilitation to the practice.
Dr. James Wooldridge is a dedicated and experienced optometrist committed to providing high-quality eye care to patients of all ages. A native of the St. Louis area, Dr. Wooldridge earned both his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

With extensive training and experience in managing complex eye conditions, Dr. Wooldridge has completed externships at low vision clinics and the Indian Health Service, including the Chickasaw Nation Health Center. He specializes in treating advanced eye diseases such as keratoconus and glaucoma, fitting specialty contact lenses, and co-managing cataract surgery. His diverse background also includes providing eye care in skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and hospice settings.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Wooldridge is passionate about serving the community. He has participated in numerous charitable eye care mission trips to Thailand, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and American Indian reservations, as well as volunteering with organizations that provide essential vision care to low-income families.
Dr. Wooldridge is excited to be a part of Metro Eye Care and looks forward to helping patients achieve their best possible vision with personalized and compassionate care.
