MiSIGHT recommendation from an actual patient!!! My daughter started MiSIGHT contacts 3 years ago after a multi step decline in her visual acuity. She is still in MiSIGHT contacts (just going through puberty now age 12) and has had ZERO changes in her contact prescription thanks to the MiSIGHT contacts and program. Coming from a family of poor vision and contact/glasses wearers, this is a wonderful advancement in optical care! Yes, the program can be costly BUT one cannot place a cost on the preservation of someone's vision! With the help of our vision insurance and Care Credit (which offers interest free financing on medical and vision costs), Metro Eye Care was very accommodating in helping us make it work financially. My daugther is still in the program and hopes to complete it in about a year from now once she has gone through her puberty stage of growth. As a primary care provider myself, I understand the medical rationale behind the MiSight contacts and program and am so thankful that my daughter has been able to participate in the program and her vision has been preserved! Metro Eye Care, Dr Goggin, and her staff are the place to go when investing in your vision or the vision of your loved ones! We love MiSIGHT!

After my daughter failed a basic eye chart test at her annual medical checkup, I took her to Metro Eye Care. Her eyesight significantly declined over the next 2 years. Dr Kruse offered us the MiSite program. These contact lenses help slow the progression of nearsightedness in kids. My daughter was 12 at the time (the top of the age group), and we decided to try it. After the first year, she had only declined 1 notch in each eye - a significant improvement over the 2 prior years. She had never worn contacts before, and the staff helped her learn how to put them in/take them out. The MiSite program included extra checkups to monitor progress and all the contacts for the year (including changing some out for a different prescription). Dr Kruse has been amazing. My only regret is we didn’t start it sooner and possibly slow the progression earlier.

I recently visited Metro Eye Care for a well overdue eye exam and a pair of new eye glasses. I have been using prescription eye glasses for approximately 30 years, and Metro's customer service is better than any that I have received in the Metro East.
Metro Eye Care has a good selection of eye wear. Bryce, one of the opticians at Metro, helped me select frames that looked better on me than other pairs I had tried on, and they were even less expensive. When Bryce wrote up my order he explained the lens selection and did not try to sell me the most expensive lenses. When I received my eye glasses he was very patient with adjustments. In the past, due to over zealous adjustments at other stores, I have had behind the ear and nose bridge pain which oftentimes led to severe headaches. I asked for slow adjustments; Bryce was very patient and accommodating. I returned two times (my choice) and both times he took his time ensuring the fit was comfortable.
Customer service from all the staff makes Metro East outstanding.
